Olark live chat offers a simple and effective way to build relationships with your clients, often through your website. Like Solve CRM, Olark helps your team understand, record and quickly act on sales opportunities and resolve support concerns.
Automatically link your Olark chats to the contact’s Solve record, as you complete your conversation. This keeps your team up-to-date and the conversation in context using Solve’s linked emails, which you’re already familiar with.
We recommend customizing your Olark account to automatically prompt clients to share their email address when entering a chat. This will help ensure the chat is linked to the correct record in Solve via matching email addresses.
Google Apps teams
Simply save your Olark chats as shared messages in your Gmail accounts.
Inside your Olark account Transcripts > Email Settings > enter your Gmail address > Save
Inside your Google Apps account
Grid icon (top-right) > Settings > Filters > Create a new filter
Under the “Subject” field type “Chat transcript:” > Continue (bottom-right) > Skip the inbox (Archive it) > Apply your special Solve workgroup label > Create filter
Your Olark chats will now link to Solve records as emails. A copy of your Olark chat will also be stored under the “All Mail” tab in Gmail.
For non-Google Apps teams simply email your Olark chats to your Solve workgroup address used to link messages (example below).
Inside your Olark account Transcripts > Email Settings > enter Solve workgroup address > Save
Your Olark chats will now save and link to Solve records as emails. A copy of your Olark chat will also be stored in your Solve account under the shared workgroup folder in Webmail.
